AHSVCA Brand Kit
we are the Alabama High School Volleyball Coaches Association
The purpose of the Alabama High School Volleyball Coaches Association (AHSVCA) is to maintain the highest possible standards in volleyball and the profession of coaching volleyball; to promote the game of volleyball, its players and coaches in the state of Alabama; to cooperate and work with the AHSAA; to provide a forum for the discussion and strong voice in affecting exchange of ideas on coaching methods and techniques.
The AHSVCA is a proud member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Signature Affiliate Program, designed to incentivize AVCA membership, advance the high school volleyball community, and establish the AVCA as the official coaching education partner within participating states.
Our Logo
The modern design represents the AHSVCA’s commitment to promote the sport, its players and coaches. The logo builds on the foundation set over the AHSVCA’s years of service to the Alabama volleyball community through the continuation of organization’s color scheme, strong block lettering and volleyball over the “AHSVCA” name. The shield-style logo is designed to represent the high level of competitiveness in Alabama volleyball while conveying the unity and strength through the AHSVCA’s role as a valued AVCA Signature Affiliate Partner, a connection which grants all its members dual membership in the AHSVCA and AVCA.
The volleyball net in the background resembles the net showcased in the AVCA’s logo-launched in 2023, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to partnership as the associations work together to advance the sport. Just as collaboration makes teams stronger, the network of the AVCA’s Signature Affiliate Partners nationwide makes the sport stronger. Other AVCA Signature Affiliates utilize a similar stylized shield logo. While the AHSVCA’s logo carries some similarities to the logos of other Signature Affiliates, the clear distinction is portrayed through the map of Alabama marked by the capital city in Montgomery, local color palette, and prominent central position of the organization’s respected name.

one-color logos
Use the full-color versions whenever possible. However, there may be circumstances where it is necessary to produce the logo in one color - such as when full-color logos do not sufficiently contrast with the background color, or where production methods and materials require the use of a one-color logo. The one-color logo should never be produced in any other single colors other than the ones shown in all-black and all-white.
